Just back from a holiday in Thailand where we stayed at the Mae Ping before moving to Phuket. We found the hotel to be absolutely wonderful. It was situated about a 2 minute walk from the night market but we were not disturbed by the noise in any way. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and helpful and the pool area was quiet and a good place to relax. The food in the hotel (there are 2 restaurants) was very good and reasonably priced: the inclusive breakfast was 1st class with a choice of english, continental or oriental and a never ending supply of tea or coffee. We will definitely use this hotel again.
