The Imperial Hotel is well located in the heart of London's West End, ideal for the City and Law Courts and overlooks the renewed Russell Square gardens. The hotel is within walking distance of Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Convent Garden, Theatre land and The British Museum. The hotel is well linked to public transport, with King’s Cross, St. Pancras and Euston Mainline Stations all nearby and there is an underground pay garage available to guests arriving by car. All comfortable rooms are air conditioned and provide a private bathroom, satellite TV, a clock radio, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, mini bar, internet access, ironing facilities, a fridge and a telephone. Many of the rooms have breathtaking views of this exciting city. Guests can make use of the Night and Day Pub-Bar, open until 1 am for guests and there is also a casino, a coffee bar with internet kiosks open until 2am, a health club, hair salon, newsagent, a bank and a Chinese herbalist. The Imperial is very central, within walking distance of Covent Garden, Oxford Street etc. The hotel was very clean. the staff were very friendlyl and helpful. The rooms were quite basic but fine for a base from which to enjoy the city. Breakfast was ok and overall we thought we had good value for money. We went to Konstam in kings cross for a meal - the food is sourced within the M25, the chef Oliver Rowe was featured on TV when setting up the restaurant. Our meal was absolutely superb and prices very reasonable. Also try Belgos at Covent Garden, you can get mussles, chips and beer or wine for just over a fiver, alternatives such as chicken are available or full al a carte menu. Offer on 12-6 each day I think. Try Islington too - many nice bars and places to eat - really good prices. we ate tapas, also exmouth market on way up to Islington for bars and eating- excellent greek restaurant. Have fun
