Booked a sea view room at Illetas Hotel. On arrival given room 11. This was on ground floor down 3 flights of stairs from lift. A bit of a stuggle. Was an unpleasent smell in room on first entering but this soon disappeared when we opened the doors onto the balcony which overlooked the deck around the swimming pool. First night noticed water was dripping from ceiling in bathroom over the bath on to your head when showering. This appeared at the time to be clean water so did not cause undue concern. However the next day on returning to the room late in the afternoon the smell was back and the bath had half an inch of foul brown water which was still dripping from the ceiling. Reported to the Reception and was told that a technician would visit the room. After dinner we went back to reception to get an update. They said they could not correct the problem and would transfer us to another room in the morning. This they duly did to a wonderful room on the top floor with a fantastic view across Palma Bay. Cannot fault the staff in the way they handled our problem always polite informative and honest. We had a very enjoyable week great food (Half Board). Would certainly return again.
