stayed 4n at this hotel, found service, food and grounds excellent, rooms large and spotlessly clean. hotel position nice for families far enough away from noise , close to sandunes and a taxi ride or pleasant walk along promenade to hustle and bustle. bedrooms overlooking the gardens nice and quiet . would return to hotel again and with out doubt stay at another ifa hotel.

I have stayed at the Catarina before, the rooms are very well appointed, big and airy. The food is buffet style fro Breakfast and Dinner and food is of a high standard. I only stay the entertainment on one evening, and this was very professional. The staff are all very friendly and ready to help. I would certainly return to Catarina and would recommend it. Great location

I have stayed to this hotel 2 times in 3 years July and August.The rooms are very big and the cleaning is very good.But the standars of the hotel have been droped.The fisrt time i was there the food was very good and with many choises now it was very bad they even served the food from the previous day for one or two days in the row.It was realy bad especially if you are staying there for 13 nights.The pool is big not very clean and with a lot of children.Many many Germans and if you are having a pool view room a lot of noise in night they are staying until 2 o'clock talking very loud and laughing.Also i have seen one time a big cockroach at breakfast time.I realy dont know if i would go back to that hotel again i would think about it a lot and surely not to a pool view room.

I'd like to say to everyone that i've stayed in this hotel for the past 4 years in the July period. I'm rating the hotel as a 5, and the simply reason being is: The rooms are lovely and big, the cleaners are very polite who work non stop making sure every bit of dust as gone in the rooms. The staff are polite around the pool area and look after you. And for the food i thought was terrible at night times. We only went in twice at night the rest of the time we was out. But it wouldn't stop me from returning again next year as i love the hotel that much. And i must admit it was nice eating out at night for a change ! Hope this review helps you, as i say the hotel is bang on ! and i wouldn't stay anywhere differant. And please don't let the food put you off, it could have just been me being pickie this year.
