I <3 Ibiza Rocks (part 2)

08 July 2008
(See part 1 below) The hotel hosts some fantastic DJ's throughout the day, music starts loudly around the main pool from 10:00 am so if you need your sleep request a room facing the chillout pool (you will hear zero noise from the main pool). The chillout pool has no dj but they usually have a radio station on. The hotel is really lively, there was zero old people there, everyone is between 18 and 30 and the women were for the most part pretty hot!! Security was not as tight as i had expected after reading some reviews, but we saw no trouble there and when we went swimming in the pool one night the security was fairly reasonable jsut told us to get out and not do it again. The rooms are fairly spartan but clean and in good condition, theres a two hob electric cooker and a weird toaster oven about the size of a microwave, good for cheese on toast and kebabs!! the cleaners are friendly and come round virtually every day and you always get fresh towels. Air conditioning is 6 euro's a day so noy cheap, you need a remote from reception, i reccomend buying a few days then you can jimmy a little lock which turns the air con on/off with a knife! You are required to pay a 60 euro deposit for your room so i'd avoid trashing it. The Ibiza rocks gigs they ran so far this year were phenomenal, we saw the wombats, the whole thing was extremely well organised and the atmosphere was pumping. The guy who's driving the Ibiza Rocks promo is a really decent guy, spoke to him in the bar and he gave us some free gig posters. For those who like indie they have a Club NME night with indie music and lvie bands such as The Underground Heroes which are cool. Most of the time the music round the hotel is varying shades of clubbing music/ funky house etc.

Part 1

Well our holiday got off to rather a poor start, we arrived at Ibiza Rocks hotel at around 3am, there was an old guy on the reception who was a miserable as sin, well apparently we couldnt get a room till 12:00 that meant 9 HOURS WITH NO ROOM! absolute nightmare after travelling all day! we had heard the hotel had a 24 hour bar which is not the case - a bit dissapointing. Well we were in ibiza and nothing was going to stop us! so we dropped our suitcases in the storage room and went out for drinks! 6am bars closed we came back to the Ibiza Rocks and had to wait 3 hours (till 9:00) before the day shift arrived, young girl and lad who were absolute legends and sorted us out a room straight away. following that the holiday got drastically better. The Hotel itself in the communal areas is VERY nice - brand new comfy sofa's, swivel chairs etc, there is about 10+ X-Box 360's dotted around the hotel (free to use), 3 pool tables by the main pool and one pool table by the chill out pool. The hotel and pool are kept very clean. The hotel also has internet facilities (i think its 7 computers) but these charge you per 20 minutes. There are 4 bars in the hotel: The one by the chill pool is open during the day but closes towards 6:00pm The one in the hotel lobby opens around 3:00pm and closes at Midnight The small bar around the main pool is open all day till around 6pm. the Large bar in the main function room next to the main pool area is open till very late (3:00 or 4:00am) The bar staff in the hotel are (as to be expected) predominantly Spanish however their english is good. There was also a cracking Scottish Lass (Lena) who runs the lobby bar, who is an absolute legend and kept us entertained most nights before we hit the town.

the best hotel ever!went there 2 years ago and am coming back this year in july! (cant wait!) we stopped on the very top floor where there was 2 big balcony's infront and behind our room.looking dwn on the pool area and the other, our hotel neighbours! you have to pay for the aircon (bit expenive) but if you meet any electricians over there just get them to tweek it!...or av a little mess with the buttons yourself!the hotel ecurity is very good but can be a pain in the backside when you forget your room card on a night on the razz which i learned my lesson about last time! theres a dj round the pool fom 10am which plays some wicked tunes! the only down point i ca say about the place is that i didnt get my deposit back wich i put down when i got there but purely thru fault of my own! we trashed the room lol.met some wicked friends over there whic just so happeed to be our nxt door neighbours! watch out ibiza, here comes th dudley wenches! 31 July 2007
loved this hotel!!!! the area is very quite when we went but still alot of places to go, they say the beach is only 300 meters away, but we couldnt find it, the hotel is great, wasnt aware before going that its 18-30 club, but didnt hear any noise at night, the pool bar never opened, but it was october when we went, the pools are great but, when its in the shade, u dont dare jump in, its that cold, the rooms are clean and spacious, was on the third floor over looking the pool, never got that busy around the pool, so always got a sunbed, the cleaners were always round, had every day fresh linen and towels, the entertainment is great for everyone, had something new on everynight, like they say were every you go, dont use the hotels supermarket is expensie, there is a local supermarket just down the round, would go bk to this hotel again

Best place on the island

31 May 2007
This is the best hotel in Ibiza in my opinion! If you go to the party island you would expect to be partying!! 10am wake up call to Bob the Builder does the trick! Lesbian shows, hypnotists and booze crusies supplied. Its a short walk to the sunset strip and not too far to the West End. If you are going soon (7th June 2007) beware of 12 dangerous young men on a stag party with the devilishly good looking stag with crutches and Borat outfit and broken leg.

Review of 'Club Paraiso Mediterraneo'

06 September 2006
If your young and 'mad for it' this is the place to be!!..5 of us stayed in the club paraiso for a week on the 10th July 2006, it was an experience of a lifetime! the hotel was allways clean and lively, security was tight if you wanted to take people home who dont have a card for the hotel, there was no chance of them getting in but meant no wierdos could just walk in!! Reception staff were...different, call the bald old guy with glasses 'laughing boy' if you want some extra passes!! or a late night jump in the pool, you'l know what we mean! we'd recommend air conditioning!! but not at 16 degrees or else you'l 'freeeze to death' as mentioned by the reception staff! overall great place to stay if you can handle no sleep and lots of noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review of 'CLUB PARAISO MEDITERRANEO'

13 August 2005
Club Pariaso was an amazing hotel to stay in. 6 of us stayed there. It was our first time in Ibiza in 2003 and whenever people talk to me about my hol, i cant shut up. The rooms were all clean and our room was quite spacious. We stayed on the very top floor which overlooked all the pools, and over to the beach. At night it was quite hot so we slept out on the balcony and nobody could see us as we were on the top floor.
Perfect distance from all the bars. We caught taxis to the main clubs. The west end is only a stroll away but enough to get away from the noise if you want to. The bar promoters can get quite irritating!
I would definitely recommend a stay there, all the receptionists were helpful and smiley.
There was always music on around the pool which got you in the mood for the night ahead! Fantastic time, hotel made a difference to the holiday x x worth a trip.

Went to Paraiso in 2004 , loved it ! Music was great , food was good and everyone you met there was really friendly. Rooms are clean and hotel staff good. Only bad thing was no air con , can be a bit hot when trying to sleep, didnt do much of that though to be honest. Going back in a week - can't wait x x

Nice place, rooms are tiny but as long as you dont get the bed on the floor and you pay for the aircon you'll ava good nites kip (all 2hrs of it), the music was pretty good apart from the same songs being played all the time. The food was ok but a bit expensive, the loud pool is good when you start your holiday and the quiet pool is good for when you need a kip by the pool. Some of the security guards are ok but you'll need your room card on you 24/7 and theres no noise allowed in the hotel after a certain time.

If you dont mind loud music starting at 10 am this is a cracking hotel. Some of the top DJ'S on the island turn up during the day and play a set on the decks by the main pool.DJ EZ was there during our stay.Rooms are big enough and cleaned if your not still in bed when the maids come round. It has 3 nice pools,a decent bar and decent food during the day.Good location.
Hotel has about 300 rooms and most overlook one of the pools(ours overlooked Cafe Mambo, what a result!!)
Great hotel, would recommend it to any groups of friends going to Ibiza.

The apartments were clean, location fantastic, the staff were friendly, security was good sometimes too good - you have to show your card (for the door) everytime you enter the apartments which can become a nuisance when you have literally popped out for 5 mins and its at the bottom of your bag!! Overall I would rate this accommodation 4/5.

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY!

21 June 2005
Well came to paraiso in 2004 loved it so much was back in 2005.
hoping to go back in september too.
you cannot beat this hotel, its close to the westend, and has everything you need on your doorstep.
the reps were a right laugh and really helpful.
Do all the trips they are great, you meet some really nice people.
If you get the chance to, go to Ibiza Town. the shops are great, might need a bigger suitcase though.
I wouldnt stay anywhere else in San An town, it has to be the Paraiso.

in contrast to the previous review my two words would be...the  and best. close to the west end (2-3 min walk) and a couple of cafes for hangover fry ups. room was spacious with balcony over looking neighbouring hotels pool. beds comfortable enough, with a little help from the drinks offers. 2-4-1 happy hour at the bar in the evening. tunes round the pool all day sometimes by visiting club DJ's. what more do you want from a hotel?!? yes the rooms may be a bit hot but that should not ake away from the A* quality of the rest of the hotel.
