The Iberostar la Bocayna is located in the south of Lanzarote, in the Bay of Las Coloradas. Just a short stroll away guests will find the famous Papagayo Beach and picturesque village of Playa Blanca. From the port ferries leave every day for Fuerteventura, interesting boat trips are organised and there are a wide range of shops and entertainment possibilities. The bungalows are well equipped and spacious to ensure a comfortable stay and all have a furnished terrace where guests can unwind after a long days sightseeing and sunbathing. PLEASE NOTE: Through the summer season 2008 the hotel will under go renovation works with re-decorations to rooms and common areas to prepare for the new development at the complex which will completed by November 2008.

Nothing wrong with the hotel as long as you don't plan on spending evenings in the hotel or you don't have kids. It's a fair distance from the centre but nearest bars at the marina are 15 mins walk, next commercial centre at least half hour's walk n the centre even further than that but it is a nice walk. Hve to agree with joe bloggs in his review of the hotel facilities, exactly the same when we went.
