Nothing wrong with the hotel as long as you don't plan on spending evenings in the hotel or you don't have kids. It's a fair distance from the centre but nearest bars at the marina are 15 mins walk, next commercial centre at least half hour's walk n the centre even further than that but it is a nice walk. Hve to agree with joe bloggs in his review of the hotel facilities, exactly the same when we went.

la bocayna park/ la bocayna

just back from the la bocayna park 24/07/08 in playa blanca we had to use the facilitieys of the sister hotel the la bocayna as the la bocayna park (formaly the cay beach) had no facilitieys the reception/la carte restaurant/ pool bar and bar/supermarket/ jucuzzi-beds/gym/ were all closed down, the sister hotel the la bocayna did have a restaurant/pool bar and reception. the restaurant had very good food something for all, reception closed at 9.30pm so no help after that time one bar pool bar closed at 6.00pm but after complaints open till 11.00pm closed on the dot. location is very bad there is nothing near no bars no entertainmet in or out of the la bocayna hotel and you are about 4/5 miles from playa blanca so taxi or walk of over an hour. this hotel is not for familys nothing for children playground was out of order its not for elderly or people with disabilitys you will need a car or taxi or stay in your room. taxis are apx 350 eours each way to playa blanca the only good thing is the food and it is clean. i would only give this hotel 2 star and would not go back again and you will need a coat for night time when sitting at the pool bar.

Very friendly and efficient check-in reception with a welcome drink, Very clean and spacious development with good accommodation and facilities, would definately use again.

Perfect location for a holiday, booked it with short notice so was extremely surprised by the quality of the accommodation.
Clean, quiet and SUN SUN SUN
Will definitely be going back this year.
