Just got back from our 3rd. stay at the now called The Metropolitan Express. My husband is disabled, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Yes, the room did smell a little damp, but then so do most of the hotels due to humidity. Only used the Universal free bus, and we got there 15 mins. after being picked up. Breakfast was good, but don't expect a cooked one. Staff are extremely friendly, and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

hotel was in a good location across from wet n wild. rooms were clean pool area nice. the hotel was in the middle of refurb works but this did not effect us too much. breakfast is a plus in the mornmings enough to get you started for the day staff are very friendly. overall the hotel is very good value for money in a good location for all the family.

We stayed at I Drive Inn, International Drive in November 2006.
It is an excellent base for Disney parks and shopping. The free bus to the parks is a bonus although the times are limited 7.10am to WDW and 10.50am to Epcot. Only a ten min walk from Universal and can arrange a free bus to pick you up from Universal to take you to Busch Gardens, saving you about £120 taxi fare. Hotel was nice and clean and had everything you could need, staff were excellent. Free coffee in the reception area was a a good idea. We would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Great hotel and location on International Drive. The hotel is near I ride and buses which take you alonh International Drive to 2 outlet malls as well as downtown. It is also near alot of restaurants including the Ponderosa which has great value all you can eat breakfast for less than 4 dollars. Rooms are clean we had a double bed each with a safe, iron and ironing board, Tv but no fridge or microwave as mentioned in other reviews (we were there September 2006). However 24 hours tea and coffee available plus cold drinks and snacks from vending machine. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to go again in November 2006 and so we would recommend this good value budget hotel.

Had a great time room basic but everything you needthough if you like a cuppa you need to take a travel kettle as there is only a microwave in the room. Nice and clean free safe in room, grat pool however no bar !. We would stay at I Drive in again very central on International Drive

Review of 'HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL DRIVE'

hotel was great, very friendly, and in a great location, 10 minutes from Universal Studios and about 30 minutes from Disney World. Free buses every day to Disney and you can get the bus to Universal for a few dollars.
The rooms in this hotel were very clean, big enough for three adults and two kids, tv,good sized bathroom, air conditioning, and a good room cleaning service, and beds changed when ever you wanted.Free safe in the room which was a god send for all valuables, the staff were very friendly and helpfull,nothing was too much for them.
Stayed for two weeks and will be going back in November for another fun filled two weeks, can' t wait.
