The Husa L'illa is situated in the business area in barcelona. As my stay was a business/pleasure mix this was perfect for me. I have been to barcelona before and stayed closer to the centre, however, the metro system is so good i would consider staying further out again. The hotel is on the busy Avenguda Diagonal directly beside a shopping centre. The metro is a 10 min walk away so you are never far from anything. The hotel itself is well maintained, however some of the rooms could do with a little bit of attention - im not sure i would say they decor is worth the four star rating. The staff are extremely friendly and you can leave your bags for a while after you check out if you dont want to spend your last day in the city dragging a suitcase behind you. We paid for the breakfast buffet in advance and was very impressed by it - there was a wide array of choice every day and i never left hungry!
All in all, i would definately use this hotel for its convenience again.
