This hotel provides its guests with magnificant views over a large sandy bay and gives directly onto a nice beach. From the beach the charms are less apparent. It is a charmless building in keeping with much of the town of San Juan. The entrance gardens are well kept and extensive but the entrance is spoilt by a hideous garage. And if you come by car expect to pay for the privilege of using it. But then you can be expected to pay for whatever service you would normally expect to be provided in a five star hotel. You will not be told beforehand you will be charged just expect a nice surprise on the bill. The food is reasonably good but not outstanding for the prices charged. In fact by Spanish standards this would rate as a 3- or 4- star hotel when compared with others that have been recently developed.
The rooms are medium sized and reasonably well appointed but show none of the charm one would expect in this category. This goes for the hotel in general.
