One night in Benidorm!

My husdand, mum and I stayed at this hotel for one night. I cannot praise it enough.
Everything about it was good - pool area, faciltities, food and room. We were also granted our request for a high floor in a quiet position - we were on the 7th flooroverlooking the pool. I would certainly use this hotel again. My Mum had stayed there before, for a week and she confirmd that it is also a good hotel for a longer stay.

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend and what a fabulous hotel. It was a 2 minute stroll away from the bars and nightlife but far enough away not to get the noise at night. The staff were very friendly, the rooms spotless although the 3 bedroomed option was a bit cramped but we didn't spend much time in the rooms. There was a fridge in every room and the air conditioning was very welcome to say how warm it was but it was very quiet and not the loud buzzing that you get in a lot of hotels. The food was excellent. We even had prawn cocktails in dishes one mealtime. The pool area was very clean and we could even go down after breakfast and still get sunbeds!! This is a four star hotel at a 3 star price. Would definitely book to stay there again. Don't listen to the bad reviews. Theres nothing you can fault at this hotel. Enjoy!!!

hotel was great, we have breakfast and dinner and the food was great, all the staff are very friendly, bingo caller is really funny breaks up the day when you are just relaxing round the pool, would go again

we had brill time, hotel was brill even though hotel full of oldies,meal time was always busy but always plenty of choice ,hot or cold,the staff was always on hand for anything,i had stayed at the venus before and would stay there again.it is in easy reach to everything,night life fantastic and nightporter was friendly even at 5 am . recommendable to all.

best three star hotel i have stayed in.location is great very central and 5 minute walk to beach.rooms were spotless and food was great plenty of choice would definitly recommend this hotel we had a great time.

When reading some of the reviews I was kind of dreading meal times here but I had no complaints at all. Breakfast was delicious and teatime was good. I had a small problem on 1 night where the kids didn't fancy much on offer but they made us burgers so the kids were made up! Customer service was excellent and very helpful at all times. Room was a bit on the small side but we were only in there to sleep! Hotel is about a 5 minute walk/10 minute slow stroll to the beach, its a 5 minute 'stumble' from the main pubs but not so close that you can hear the music. I would without any hesitation go back again. Its recommendable for anyone and caters for everyone. Really is a nice hotel!

Have stayed at the Hotel Venus on numerous occasions enjoy every visit,staff are very friendly and accomodating,food has 100% locality 100%,have recommended the hotel to family and friends,they have also visited and totally agree with my reccomendations,will be returning again and again,have stayed at other hotels in Benidorm but once i made my first visit to the Venus i could'nt stay anywhere else.

5 DAYS IN WONDERFUL HOTEL

We arrived at the Venus 3.2.08 and left 8.2.08, this hotel is absolutely lovely, friendly staff, lovely food, we were upgraded to a superior room on arrival, as the hotel was not fully booked. The weather was very hot, sunny, the pool area is large, with plenty of sun beds, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be in the hub of the clubs, but no noise, just everything to hand. My one criticism is that the chairs in the downstairs bar and the upstairs bar are on the small side and uncomfortable, but apart from that, what a wonderful time. We will be booking in again, in the future.

A good time had by all

We spent a long weekend, friday to monday. There were nine of us so many people often hard to please all. We thought the food was great, a lot of choice and something for everyone. The chef cooking eggs in the morning and fish etc at night was a hit with all. The rooms were clean and tidy but a little squeezed on the three bedroom option. The pool area was popular with some and the entertainment lived up to its name, the music quiz bought out the competer in some of our group. The staff were helpful when needed. The local area was fun especially at night. We all agreed that the hotel was great and would certainly recommend it to all.

We were at Venus for seven nights and would return here again an excellent location for a group where everyone is maybe doing something different.We went for full board a good choice a varied menu every day something for everybody .In our party there was a couple making there spanish debut and boy did they enjoy it ! Booking shortly for next year .The pool was very good and was never short of sunbeds .Overall everybody in our party would stay at the Venus again .P.S.Don't miss spiderman.

Excellent hotel, very good location. Room wasnt ready when we arrived at 12 but got in at 1pm, wanted a room on high floor, had one available on 2nd floor, glad we waited and took the 8th floor, we heard no noise and were facing an all night club. Rooms on bottom floor have no views so recommend to go higher. We had a seaview too which we wasnt expecting. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice and chef cooking eggs as you wanted. Never had evening meal as so many restaurants and wanted to look about the old town but others said it was good too. Pool lovely, plenty of room and bar service. Good location, only 5 mins walk on the flat to the beach and about 15 minutes into old town. Definately go back to Venus again, well worth the money. Rooms very clean and clean towels daily. Another excellent holiday from Alpha Rooms.

Fantastic Hotel

first visit to venus but have been to Benidorm many times. Hotel was very clean with friendly and helpful staff, maid service was excellent, the food was fantastic, they had such things like black pudding for breakfast, apple crumble with hot custard for dinner and a chef on at all meals cooking various dishes on a griddle at all meal times. I would have no hesitation in going back there again

This was our second visit to the Venus. The food once again was
excellent and the only negative comment I would make is that it reopened a week too early. The rooms were freezing and we were 2 nights without any heating. There was also still a lot of renovations being done which did not always make this a resful and peaceful holiday.

MYSELF AND 4 FRIENDS ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL VENUS IN BENIDORM AND THOUGHT "WOW" THE RECEPTION AREA WAS SECOND TO NONE. OUR ROOM WAS NOT READY WHEN WE ARRIVED WHICH WAS ABOUT 11AM SO WE DECIDED TO GO TO THE POOL BAR AND FILL IN TIME BY HAVING A FEW DRINKS WHICH WE FOUND VERY REASONABLE FOR A HOTEL. THE ROOMS WHEN WE GOT TO THEM WHERE SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, BUT BEST OF ALL WAS THE FOOD WE HAVE NEVER HAD AS MUCH CHOICE. ALPHAROOMS YOU HAVE DONE YOURSELF JUSTICE AGAIN. TILL NEXT TIME BYE FOR NOW.

this hotel is ideal for people of most ages but especially (in my opinion)the mature couple or those with mobility difficulties. it is set only metres away from the best cabaret in Benidorm and hey; the streets around all flat flat flat! Not a hill or a bump in sight. the hotel is really user friendly if you have a buggy and there are many re-charging pods around the hotels ground floor. You can actually hire an electric scooter for as little as 54 euros for a whole week. the food is lovely, no struggling to make a meal here, they even have dippy fried eggs at breakfast! the rooms can be a tad on the small side but spotlessly clean and centrally heated in the winter. the sheets and towels are changed daily and the staff are all helpful and friendly. I have stayed in Benidorm many times and few of the hotels are as good as an all round package. As for the sun terrace it is actually one of the only hotels in benidorm i have stayed in where you can get the sun from dawn to dusk (provided there are no clouds in the way. Fantastic

The Venus was located excellently for Benidorms nightlife and beach which was the purpose of my trip.
The rooms are basic TV, Shower etc. but clean, however if its really hot the air conditioning isnt really powerful enough and opening the balcony door can be quite noisy especially as there is a night club/bar just over the road from the hotel.
The hotel staff were helpful on the few occasions I needed them but basically you were left to get on with it on your own which suited me.
