Review of 'HOTEL MERCURE NICE CALIFORNIE'

This hotel was not really 3 star. The room & bathroom had been revamped and were fine although small. The problem for us was the public areas - all pretty dowdy - and the front desk and bar service poor. Time for a makeover! We were also perplexed as to why the restaurant facilities were not available to individual guests - they catered solely for large coach parties and no food was available to us in the evenings. By the way - Nice was great!
