This was my 5th time in Paris but the 1st time in this hotel. The hotel was basic but very clean which was very good. The location was terrific bening a short walk to the Eiffel tower and Trocadero district. Staff spoke English and was very friendly as well. For the price I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to another person.

Really enjoyed the stay
24 May 2008
Spent three nights here in May and would certainly reccommend the hotel to anyone. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. It is in a very good location about 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. The area is not noisy from traffic and there are good eating places in the vicinity. Breakfast was really good and set you up for a long day sightseeing. The room was a little small but all you need is there.
A thouroughly enjoyable few days

1st Time in paris as a couple!!! Would definitely recommend this Hotel to someone who is looking to stay in a central, quiet, cultural area in Paris. The location has an upmarket and safe feel and it is very close to the Metro. Excellent value for Paris: The rooms are a bit on the small side but still standard for Paris. There is an excellent restaurant arounf the corner owned by a friendly country french cook - Excellent Escargots!! And thats coming from a lady with a delicate tummy at the best of times!! Breakfast was continental with an excellent choice of fruit / cereal and yummy croissants. Staff are very helpful with providing information and made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Hotel Les Jardins D'eiffel

1st time in Paris and was very happy with the location - very close to the Eiffel Tower. Easy to get around rest of Paris via the metro or buses. Room was very clean but quite small. Staff very friendly and spoke very good English. Breakfast was continental but plenty of choice. I would stay here again. Plenty of places to eat out very close by.

The hotel is ideally located to walk or metro to many of the main attractions in Paris. The rooms were clean although rather small. As it was New Year we were a little disappointed there was no bar area and only a mini bar service in the room. Breakfast was ok with a varied choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone having a short stay in Paris.

Happy with the hotel and would stay there again. We were fortunate enough to have a really good view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. The rooms were clean and tidy, although the furniture was dated and had some cosmetic damage. Breakfast was good (for a continental breakfast) and consisted of cereal, fresh fruit, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, boiled eggs, bread/toast, cheese, jams, pastries, fruit juice, various teas and coffee - more than enough choice to give me a good start to the day. The reception staff were helpful and all spoke English (a big advantage to me as my French is very poor). The restaurant staff were smart, clean and on the ball - I couldn't ask for more. In spite of all this, I still can't really understand why the hotel qualifies for 3 stars - there were no additional amenities other than free (for up to a half hour or so) internet access, a small outside courtyard which was shaded all day and a mini bar in the room. One final observation, it was useful to talk to the reception staff about things to do, however, they do seem to sell certain activities (presumably for a commission) which means you don't necessarily get all the information you need. For instance, we paid 114 euros each for a meal and a show including drinks. The show was good, the meal was fine, the supplied drink was limited. Once the bottle of wine and half bottle of champagne were consumed - we then went on to order additional drinks, but at 12 euros for a 25 cl (around a half pint) of lager, 10 euros for a soft drink (coke, sprite, etc.) or 6 euros for a bottle of water, the additional costs mount up quickly. The evening was enjoyable but rather more expensive than we expected.

The hotel and rooms are clean and well kept. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. The bedroom, which was a double superior (with a view of the Eiffel Tower) was a reasonable size for its purpose which was a base for touring the sights of the city. The bed was a king size. Two small areas that could have been better were the lack of seats in the room and the shower, which was hand held in the bath. However, that did not spoil our enjoyment. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was very good with unlimited supplies of cereal, fruit, rolls, croissants, pastries etc. The hotel was well located for the Metro and is in a pleasant area with many places to eat, drink and shop in the vicinity. Many tourist sites such as the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides are within a short walking distance. We would be happy to return to this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, near the Eiffel Tower, which is great if you have children because they usually like to visit it more than once and it is easy to get to. There are some shops and restaurants nearby which is also good. The breakfast is good with a good range of continental foods to choose from.
I was a little disappointed with the room because I had booked a twin superior and hoped that this would mean I would have a view of the Eiffel Tower but did not. I asked what superior meant and it is basically just to do with the decor. There is a mini bar in the room and electric shutters which we liked and the pillows were very soft!
The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Good Value for money hotel in ideal location. Breakfast was included in our deal and it was good buffet selection. Small room but clean, give me clean over big any day . Staff very helpful and happy to speak English. We were there for 4 nights. If you were in Paris for longer you might want something more up market but you don't send much time in a room when there is whole of Paris to see! We would go back there.

I found the staff at the Hotel to be pleaseant and helpful. The rooms are clean, the facilities are adequate, and the free breakfast is pleasing. The hotel also has air conditioned. The hotels location is very advantageous. It is located within two blocks of a subway station. From that station, you can travel all over the city. There are also a lot of nice cafes in the neighbourhood. Quite frankly, the price of most hotels in Paris is outrageous. I thought that his hotel was an outstanding value for the $106 that it was costing me per night.

Tom
