hotel clean and staff friendly, rooms decent size beds not comfy at all! pillows are non exsistant! breakfast your typical continental not our idea of breakfast so we tended to skip it! tram lines great rite outside takes around 15mins to get to the centre... very cheap too! overall ok but i wouldnt give it the 3stars it has

We stayed here for a stag week. 4 nights. We found the hotel pleasent and clean with helpful staff. Breakfast was the usual continental, wasn't our idea of a breakfast lets say, but if you like bread and cheese your ok !! Beds ok, pillows are none existant ! Trams ok but you are more than 15mins closer to 20mins out. The trams are plentyful and cheap ! Free internet in reception !

This hoel offers good value for money! We stayed there for 1 week, and although it´s not a fashionable place, it was a pleasant stay. The room were ok. The beds good, and the cleaning was ok. The lobby was under restauration when we arrived, but it was no inconvenience at all. Getting to the nearest Metro"Andel" was easy - There were 3 lines of trams, so no matter when you got out, you didn´t have to wait more than a few minutes. The restaurant on the hotel was nothing special, but the staff was always very helpfull. The hotel is located in forest-like surroundings. No noise in the evenings, but easy to reach. We would stay there again, should we get to Prague. Only minus was the cab-service from the hotel to the airport. If you want the hotel to arrange it, do NOT believe their fixed price. We was told one, but it was almost twice the price we paid to get to the hotel, and it was most certainly not a registered cab at all, but maybe the (grand)dad of some employee, trying to squeeze the most of it. You´re better off, using the AAA-cabs or public transportation!

Just arrived back and have to say it was a great place to stay. From the outside you may think oh it doesn't look that great but don't let the external walls put you off. The rooms are nice the beds reallly comfy and the bar area and reception are really nice. Found breakfast to be as expected, nice selection of meats, cheese, eggs etc. As for getting in to Prague, yuo can't fault the hotel for this! It is litterally on the tram stop which gets you into prague in 10 mins. Overall the staff were freindly the rooms really nice and the price excellent (think we payed £120 for both of us for 4 nights) even if we were going during the festival time. I'd give it 5 out of 5

Review of 'GOLF'

Not 5 Star accommodation but if your just looking for somewhere to sleep and have a shower as me and my boyfriend were, it was great and we only paid £45 for a 3 night stay for the 2 of us.  Breakfast is okay in the hotel but nothing special.  When we got to the hotel they were having the pavement and road infront and to the side of the hotel's reception area resurfaced and were replacing one of the corridors but we heard no noise when we were in our room and the work will be completed in Feb 07 so please don't let that put you off.  
The Transport system in Prague is fantastic and the tram to get into the main area's stop right on the main road outside the hotel and run every 10 minutes. (approx).  The hotel is set back off the main road so there is hardly any traffic noise but there are a number of steps to climb so I would say unsuitable for people who don't like steps but after all the walking you will do around Prague's lovely city, a few steps will feel like nothing!!! Would definitely stay at the hotel again as I said earlier we only slept and showered there but overall hotel was lovely and the room was lovely and warm even though we went the weekend before Xmas 06.
