Hotel Centrale is a 3 stars hotel located in Venezia Mestre downtown at only 20 meters from the bus stop to Venecia old downtown. It offers 90 modern rooms all with private bathroom , shower, TV colour, TV sat, sky sport and sky movie. At only 50 meters from the main hotel entrance is located the piazza Ferretto: the shopping and pedestrian area of Mestre. Post office, bank, shops, supermarket, mall everything is located near the hotel. Town market at 200 meters every Wednesday and Friday morning. The bus stop to Venice is at 20 meters. Bus service 24h a day.

Good hotel for travellers on a budget who want to visit venice. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The bus stop to venice is around the corner and costs €1.10 single. Get your tickets from the tabac next door to the hotel. The room was what I expected from a 3 star hotel very good. Mestre is very quiet so if you plan to party don't stay in mestre. The hotel advertises a bar but it is next door and managed by a great family of chinese!!!. They make you very welcome. The breakfast however was very disappointing for a 3 star hotel. If you book with alpharooms you get a green ticket which entitles you to continental breakfast which is only bread and jam, juice and tea or coffee. If you want the "buffet breakfast" you have to pay an extra €10 a day per person. The hotels own website advertises that all guests receive a buffet breakfast but you have been warned. We sat in the buffet area on the first morning and were quickly told that as we only had a green ticket we needed to be in the small room off the resturant which was not big enough for the amount of guests. All told the hotel is good value for what you pay.
