Stayed in Dec07 not bad but could do with a face lift. We had a good time in Lanzarote again the Rose of Clare bar near by is tops.

We have just returned from a week a the Beatriz Playa quite a big hotel food was plentiful and a great variety our room had a sea view which was lovely and got all the evening sun we found the heated swimming pool lovely great night entertainment there a nice quite hotel there was lovely walks along the promenade to Peurto del Carmen and a short bus ride from the Hotel to the Rancho Texas Theme park which we really enjoyed the flight of the eagles being our favourite show. We will definately return there in the future as the staff were very friendly and helpful

Overall a very good hotel.We went for the new year package and the hospitality was fab also the evening entertainment and pool side club are very good.Bar staff could do with a bit of a cheer up though.

We found some of the bar staf were
not friendly and welcoming or engaging. Little information on arrival apart from where your room is located and where to find the restaurant. The best was the entertainment, for the children during the day and brilliant family entertainment in the evening.
The hotel is very large were you might need sat-nav to find your way around. The restaurant had some good food but lacked ambience with its basement location with no views and in need of refurbishment.

Just spent a week at the Beatrix. Huge place but very well laid out and managed.Hard to find a suitable place as a solo traveller that is anyway reasonable. I found it an ideal base for long walks.The staff are efficient and friendly and the buffet at breakfast and dinner was excellent.Could not find any real negatives.Was aware of the hotel in advance as I travel every year to Lanzarote.Very happy with the choice.

Our stay at this Hotel was very good,not at all noisy located by the beach, good for walks, shops and resturants within five minutes walk. We had booked half board,i.e. breakfast and buffet dinner, both sittings were of excellent quality with a wide variety of dishes soups,veg and meat to choose from, many desserts plus dried fruit and fresh fruit,ice cream, different breads,juices and if you can still manage to find room there is also cheese and biscuits to finish.Also for breakfast if you want there is champagne!
The rooms are a good size,well equiped plus a sunny balcony with table and chairs.
Lots going on during the day some cookery demos, games to play, basement area with pool tables, bars and a gym to work off the extra pounds. Shops, sauna and a hairdresser is available too.
If you enjoy a walk Ariciffe and Puerto del Carmen are within reach. Although the airport is so near it is not at all noisy, and you can stand right under the flightpath as they come in from the sea, a photographer and planespotters delight.
We would use the same Hotel if we return to this area and recommended it to others.

my husband and I have stayed at the Beatriz twice and thoroughly enjoyed it, the only thing I would say is that some of the rooms are in need of refurbishment, both bedrooms and puplic rooms.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. It has very many amenities. and some great entertainment in the day and at night. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The entertainment staff were extremely nice and added the fun to our stay, especially on those hot days by the pool.
There are many things to do, including darts, mini golf, archery, pool and even internet access. The hotel was kept clean, and the standard of rooms were average. Our room was particularly nice with a lovely sea view, which was just outside of the hotel. There are some bars, and various resteraunts around about a 5 minute walk away, and also a spar shop and various gift shops as well. Overall, an average enjoyable family holiday, with plenty to do in the day as well as at night. I especially recommend going to 'Titty in the tavern' whilst staying there, in arrecife.
