Had we paid rack price for this well located hotel, I would have been disappointed. However, we paid a Alpharoom rate for B&B; that made this a bargain. Nice place to stay, and easy metro connecctions to paris. Many good munch places outside the hotel. Breakfast typical for this type hotel, and rest of stay was good. The room was a superior room and very comfortable and pin drop quiet. Nice flat screen tv and comfy sofa. At the right price, I would recommend without hesitation.

Review of 'HOLIDAY INN PARIS REPUBLIQUE'

Excellent, clean and comfortable.
Decor good, pleasant staff; Excellent breakfast, tho' there appeared to be shortage of salt & pepper pots!
Super location for exploring both on foot (e.g we did return walks to Notre Dame and Montmartre easily)and by public transport. Highlights of our stay included 3 days celebrating our son's 21st(!), Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, open-top bus tours (tho' the headphones hardly ever work!, a night at the Moulin Rouge (not cheap but speactacular), dinner at the Moulin de Galette (tough steak I'm afraid!), the Impressionists at the Musee d'Orsay (top floof....outstanding!) and an earthy,student-budget restaurant 50 yards down the reu Amelot from the hotel on the right-hand-side (our son's favourite!).
