I had travelled overnight to liege and having arrived early in the morning I thought that I would have to kill 5 or 6 hours untill I could check in but lukily I took a chance and walked up to the hotel and was met by a very helpful gentleman on the front desk who checked to see if my room was available. It was and I was able to get some rest.The hotel I thought was very tidy and seemed to be in quite a good location as regards the main part of the town. The staff that I met were very helpful and polite. I never had chance to sample the bar or the breakfast and the only slight complaint is that the decour could do with modernising. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn.
