Hl Club Playa Blanca

Have just returned from a absolutely fabulous week at this hotel. I have to disagree with the other reviews. I definitely felt it was 4 star. The hotel was very clean, the bungalows you got were very clean too. I never saw any ants running about the floor which is sometimes unusual. The room was cleaned every day apart from a Thursday. There was air conditioning which was very cold and the bathroom was nice (which is important to me). The pool area was lovely and always clean. They had a pool bar which served great drinks. The food in my opinion was quite good. I am vegetarian and usually struggle to get something to eat at all inclusives but there was always a large selection. I was very impressed. At night the entertainment was fine. You always got a laugh. The all inclusive finished at 11pm but if you wanted to head into the town which is down the beach it is only a 10 minute walk. We did it most nights and there are lovely restaurants and bars down there. There is also a free bus which takes you down to the beach during the day if you want but to be honest if you are able to walk its easier. All in all this is a great hotel and I would definitely go back again.

ON ARRIVAL AT A VERY NICE ENTRANCE AND RECEPTION WE WERE DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THAT SOME OF THE FLOORING AND WALLING WITHIN THE COMPLEX WERE LOOKING DATED.  THE BUNGALOWS WERE PERFECTLY ADEQUATE, HOWEVER ON A B&B BASIS YOU DONT GET ANY KITCHEN FACILITIES, YOU DO GET A MICROWAVE AND A FRIDGE THOUGH? THE MAIDS DID A FINE JOB AND CAME IN 5 DAYS OUT OF A 7 DAY STAY, NOT TOO EARLY EITHER, HAVE BEEN IN OTHER ACCOMODATION WHERE THEY ARE KNOCKING ON THE DOOR AT 9.30 AM. THE HOT AND COLD BREAKFASTS WERE VERY GOOD WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE.  THERE WAS A DISTINCT LACK OF BRITISH GUESTS ONLY NOTICING ONE OTHER FAMILY.
WE WOULD DEFINATELY CONSIDER IT AGAIN WHEN WE RETURN TO PLAYA BLANCA.
