One of the best

15 April 2008
Just after to returning from a fanatastic weekend here. Have to say it is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. From moment we arrived all staff were very friendly and efficient. If they noticed you were nearly finished a drink they would ask if you liked some more. The lobby or atrium is one of the most impressive I have seen with visitors taking pictures of it as though it was a tourist attraction. Room had everything you could need although it was a little small. But very comfortable. If you are staying on the weekend you won't notice the renovation work but when we were leaving Monday we could here hammering from about 9:30. Food was excellent if a bit pricey. About 20 euro for fish and chips in the bar and about 5 euro for a bottle of Heiniken. They have a tour stand in the lobby where you can book all the tours and be collected at the hotel. The old town is about 10-15 mins walk away. I felt very safe walking around here and enjoyed the experience. Plenty to see and do. One of the best cities and best hotels I have been too and saved 100 euro by booking with alpharooms.

Hilton

The new room was lovely. It is a 10 min walk to the old square. Very expensive for a drink or food- 4-5 times the average local price- this seemed ridiculously high. Lovely pool. Breakfast was nice but the hot food a bit of a let down. They also tried to charge us for minibar items we didn't use. Good at the price we paid but would 't have liked to pay full price. Also building works were disruptive, we were told no noise from 6 pm- 10am but I was woke at 8.30am by hammering. Also immediate area very busy roads and traffic.

Review of Hilton Prague

30 September 2007
We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Before we arrived we requested one of the refurbished rooms but on arrival were given an older and very basic room. Although once we complained we were moved immediately to a lovely large refurbished room and given a complimentary bottle of wine & fruit. As per previous reviews, food in the hotel is expensive but lovely. We found the spa facilities & treatments excellent and definitely recommend staying in this hotel.
