Better than expected - Would go back.
I had read the reviews of this hotel before booking and chose on the previous reviews. Certainly not disappointed. In fact very pleased. The food very extremely good and even if you stay for 14 nights, there is sufficient variants each night to ensure you do not have same food. (weekly rotation is probable, however enough to ensure variances). Excellent staff and friendly. Entertainment team work very hard and ensure everyone is enjoying themselves. Well done Lewis, Kym and Tom - keep up the good work. The view from our room (211) was lovely, the only drawback was we were over the delivery area and bins which never smelt, just noisy when dustmen arrive at 4am or delivery drivers around 7-9am and the bathroom was very small and awkward to use facilities.
Sea is pleasant for children once you get over the rocks, but very calm.
We watched people saving sun beds around the terraces at 6am every morning - it said no reserving, however the english felt they had to reserve them!!! Also, very annoying is that they do reserve beds and dont return to them until 4pm!! therefore not allowing someone who wants one during the day to use it. Very selfish we felt. This was during June, whether hotel are more strict with this during busy periods I dont know, but i think they should be.
Never battled for space in restaurant or bar areas. Only comment would be could to with being updated but the friendliness of staff ensured you didn't dwell on it. Best All Inclusive I have been to (and I have experienced a fair few - mainly 4 or 5* and the food here is far better) Those people that reviewed the food as repetitive and boring, I think wanted Fine Dining in which case, pay fine dining costs!!!!! For a 3* hotel, the food was excellent!!!! and I am partial veggy!!!!
We only stayed one week, but it was excellent and would go back.
Dont expect alot around the area, cala san vincente is very small and has one spar shop, one other supermarket and a paper shop. All the other places seemed to be either closed as early season or closed/run down.
Beaches are lovely - scenery is wonderful. hotel spotless and couldnt fault the holiday.
Defo going back
The best thing about my stay was…
hotel staff and food.
