Mini Bruges Break

Having just returned from Brugge after staying in the Hans Memling Hotel which was well situated for the old town a few minutes walk from the Market Square. Our room was very clean and comfortable with all facilities you would expect. The buffet style breakfast had a wide selection of cereals and the scrambled eggs/bacon was great! We would definitely would recommend the hotel to our frineds & we would go back and stay again.

The hotel was very central to everything just off the Markt with lots of bars/cafes around. The room was compact and clean with a pleasant decor, and english tv! The hotel was very clean and staff friendly and helpful, a good continental style breakfast was available and the little garden/courtyard is very pleasant to sit out in and have your morning coffee on a warm sunny morning! The train station in Brugge is only about a 15-20minute walk away. I wouldn't say the hotel was within a 4 star category, but it made an ideal base for sightseeing in Burgge

Review of 'HANS MEMLING'

this is agood hotel for sightseeing in Bruge. it is in a central location near to the Markt, with plenty of eating places around. we had breakfast the morning we arrived, which was early sunday morning,and lucky to get our rooms so early in the day.the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely, one of the best we've had on the continent. beware though,if your room is on the ground floor, and keep the curtains closed in the bathroom. our window was right opposite the toilet and the pavement just outside! a really good hotel.
