These apartments were spot on. No complaints at all. Cheap & cheerful. I think this would be better advertised for groups of people not family's.

June 2008 Really Good
16 June 2008
First time here and we were really impressed with our 2 bedroom appt. Very spacious and clean and well equipped, right down to a utility room and clothes airer and bottle opener. Kitchen had a good halogen cooker which was handy for boiling the saucepan for water for the odd cuppa. The staff a mixture of english, spanish and dutch and romanian, were very polite and friendly. I felt sorry for the night receptionist who had to deal with the screaming hen and stag groups that came in at anything from 2am to 7am acting like it was the middle of the day.
My only complaint was again related to the stag and hen groups that drank beer in the pool, left bottles at the side of the pool and swore their heads off around the young children. Very central location, close to eveything. Go across the road (opposite stretford end and london bar) to the newly re opened Vonnys Bar where drinks are very very Cheap. Kevin and his daughter Lisa are very welcoming and the atmosphere is great day or night, Karaoke is good their too. Would go back to the Halley but avoid June to August when hopefully there is not many stag/hen groups. I (38yrs) was with family & very young at heart 60 yr olds and it was a bit much at times.

I thought the accomodation was fine and the location great the only issue i had was that the towels were only changed once in 7 days and when this was done they left wet ones, which we couldnt dry as the weather was not hot enough. the bed sheets were not changed at all. apart from that the place was good, the pool area was clean and it was close enough to walk to the main parts in benidorm.

I visited The Halley march 2008, very clean excellent accommodation very friendly staff, central yet very quiet, everything you need in self catering, huge balcony. One small thing it could do with some english events in the foyer on the notice board. I have recommended it to all my freinds and I shall certainly be back. thanks great time.

Top Notch Gaffe
26 July 2007
5 of us, all lads just come back from the Halley and for what we paid, was excellent. Nice pool area with helpful staff, in the whole 2 weeks we had beds changed once mind, towels changed twice a week. Room was excellent, big and spacious with a huge balcony someone said they look a bit dated but in good condition everything worked, big fridge so no complaints. Bar wasn't in operation as it was being refurbished (we think). The one bad thing that could be said about the place is the lifts. Poor standard sometimes smelt and at times could be waiting up to 5 minutes for it to arrive at your floor, and when you're several stories up its frustrating! Plenty of sunloungers available round the pool and you are allowed to bring in drinks from supermarket etc to drink round the pool with. Places for breakfast are also handy theres a bar on the corner called the Stretford End, very convenient but what you get there you will get cheaper up the road at yorkshire pride, and round the corner at admiral nelsons plus at the Stretford, the staff dont hand you the bill and add their own tip on the bill! Aswell as being arrogant, try to avoid if possible. All in all excellent value for money holiday!!

The Halley
04 July 2007
Recently spent a week here. Very well situated and equiped. Balconies get sun until 7.30 in the evening. Perfect accomodation whether you intend cooking or eating out. Towels changed once during the week. Cleaning equipment in apartment if you need it. I would have rated this as 5 but for the last night. Two rowdy groups of young males disturbed the otherwise peaceful stay, these were both Spanish and English.
If any improvements could be made my suggestion is that single sex groups be made aware at booking that a hefty deposit, say in excess of 200 euro, will be payable upon arrival and will only be refunded assuming there have been no complaints made about them during their stay!!

The Halley
29 May 2007
This was our first self catering holiday for many years so every thing was done not knowing much about apartments or anything else as we have always done hotels for years.
The Halley apartments were of exelent quality ,every thing was very clean everything you needed if you wanted to cook ,and to clean if you needed to.The staff were all exelent and helpful in any way you needed them to be. The beds were changed twice in the 8days we were there ,towels changed 3 times, this you dont always get at 4* hotels.
The only thing that was missing was the restraunt that was in the process of being updated but this did not effect our stay because we intended to eat out anyway,we will definately be using these apartments again before the year is out and any time again in the future
