Very nice hotel, staff friendly, only problem we found was the guests were not very friendly everyone tended to keep themselves to themselves. I like to mix with people when on holiday. After all it does`nt cost to say hello.

nice hotel
27 March 2008
We stayed at the Conquistador over the easter week. We found the hotel to be very clean and cannot fault the pool and garden areas. Our only disappointment was with the food in the hotel. The "restaurant" was more of a "canteen" and although lots of choice, the meals were comparible to school dinners. I was disappointed that water was not available to drink unless paid for and we even got told off for bringing drinks down from the bar area to the dining room!!
We are a family with 2 young children and would point out to others in the same situation that the hotel tends to be frequented by older (pensioner age) guests. Also we found that the hotel was predominantly Spanish/German rather than English.
Other than that we had a superb time, and as I say, the hotel facilities, cleanliness, entertainment etc is four star. As a base the hotel is in an excellent position for the resort.

This Hotel was excellent very clean, staff very friendly, Food very good plenty to choose from can't fault it in anyway. While we were there in February it was my Birthday when we got back to our room that day there was an ice bucket with a bottle of Champayne, what a nice surprise. The pool was very well maintained plenty of sun lounges and towels for everyone. Hotel we thought was in a very good position with bars and shops in walking distance. A great week had, also the weather was fantastic. Well done to the manager and staff keep up the good work.

Review of 'H10 Conquistador'
17 October 2006
The hotel overall was very clean and tidy. The bar areas and pool areas were very clean and so were the rooms. The pool area was excellent as their was plenty of space for the large number of sun beds and the pool was very child friendly. The reception was excellent with all the staff speaking good english. The food was very good with a wide variety of choice. Overall a great place to stay 10 out of 10.

Review of 'H10 Conquistador'
09 September 2006
Lovely spacious Hotel, well positioned close to all facilities of Playa De Las Americas.Spacious public areas large dining room, serving good and various types of food.Beautiful pool area, well maintained, spotlessly clean,as were the bedrooms, and all other areas of the hotel. The entertainement was good, when we were there it was outside, which was very pleasant as the weather was nvery hot all week. The one drawback was it was also very loud,if you had a pool view room.,there was very little chance to sleep before 12pm,and most nights not till after 1.30am.There was also a distinct lack of Air Conditioning in public areas, which in dining and public areas which sometimes made it almost unbearable at times.Talking to other Brits they also felt the rooms were adequate, and kept lovely and clean by the maids there was a distinct lack of storage for clothes.

Review of 'H10 CONQUISTADOR'
25 March 2005
The conquistador is a lovely hotel. On arrival to the hotel the hotel was imaculate. The staff were really friendly and able to assist with any problems we had. There was plenty to do in the hotel as we were near the shops and pubs of an evening. We didn't need to travel very far as the conquistador is in a lovely location. The food is excellent at the hotel and they provide a wide variety of food every day. It is one of the nicest hotles on the island and i will definately be going back soon.
