Overview
Phuket is located approximately 82 kilometres south of Bangkok and is affectionately known as the pearl of the Andaman. The resort is renowned for its limestone cliffs, white powdery beaches, tranquil broad bays and tropical in-land forests, all of which make it one of Thailand’s most popular destinations. Phuket has two main seasons; the rainy season (May to October) and the hot season (November to April) and experiences most of its visitors between November to February. Phuket caters for all tastes and is home to a wide selection of accommodation types, from world-class resorts to tropical-style bungalows, making it ideal for all types of travellers.
