Seville Seville is situated on the south-west coast of Spain and enjoys a good year-round climate, averaging 25 degrees. Divided by the Guadalquivir River, the city is split into several distinct suburbs, with the Old Town to the left of the river and the Arrabal district to the right. Attractions in Seville include the Cathedral, once judged the third largest in the world, which stands on the site of a great twelfth century mosque and is the final resting place of Christopher Columbus.
