safe, peaceful and clean,

The resort is in a very peaceful, smart, clean and safe area. There are lots of restaurants around to choose from. The beach is lovely! The only problem was the fact that there is no direct transport from the airport if you are not able to book the transfers and need to use taxi instead - expensive.

Calahonda 15th visit!

We love the location and holiday at a beach-side resort for the main time. The staff of bars, restaurants, Dona Lola Club are friendly and helpful. We enjoy meals at Farfalla, Henlys and Mijas Player. Visit the market in La Cala and Calahonda. Teenagers will enjoy Andys beach at Cabopino. Mijas is magical day or night.

lovely quiet area

lots of bars and restaurants but spaced out and not noisy -. Nice beach but a bit shingley. excellent golf courses nearby.

Qiet Area

There is not a lot of entertainment in this resort. Very quiet. The transport system is very good and easy to get around to visit other resorts in the region. Plenty of cafe bars with very good food and reasonable price drinks makes a nice change from staying in the hotel.

small place, not very Spanish, expensive

We live further North, between Lorca and Aguilas, the prices are by far cheaper and more value for money. Less a touristy place too.
