Located 70 kilometres north of the airport on Mallorca's east coast, the resort of Cala Millor is the largest development in this remote region of the island. The long sandy beach is well sheltered and perfect for relaxing on, with clear waters and all the activities and amenities you would expect from a modern resort. With a good selection of shops, and a variety of bars and discos there is plenty of nightlife provided along with the hotel-based entertainments. There is limited public transport in this area, so car hire may be necessary. Cala Millor is a fun resort that provides a great family holiday for children of any age. Couples may also enjoy the atmosphere here which can provide the best of both worlds: a relaxing beach location alongside an entertaining town by night. Hire a car and visit the famous Caves of Drach. This spectacular set of caves is full of stalactites, a light show and concert is performed to highlight the caverns. Next door is the Aquarium de Mallorca which houses a display of exotic fish from around the world.
