Benalmadena is located in Andalucia on Spain's Costa del Sol and has three distinct areas to visit. The old town of Benalmadena Pueblo is set back from the seafront and retains much of its original charm with narrow, cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Benalmadena Costa is the main tourist area with nine kilometres of golden sandy beaches perfect for those wanting to soak up the sun. The beautiful marina is one of the smartest and liveliest places to be seen, with its sophisticated bars and cafes. Arroyo Miel has many shops and clubs and the famous Tivoli amusement park with its funfair and live shows is open until late. Why not take a cable car ride up Monte Calamorro where on a clear day you can see the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. Benalmadena is much more than a beach resort with a lot to offer travellers of all ages.
