Algarve Stretching along the whole southern coast of Portugal, the Algarve is a beautiful, sunny area in which to holiday. The Algarve has many resorts that cater for the young and old alike, and their restaurants offer tempting Portugese cuisine such as Chicken Piri-Piri all washed down with a glass of Vinho Verde, the local 'green wine'.
