Puerto Rico is one of the most popular family resorts on Gran Canaria. It sits on the south west coast of the island and is only 45 minutes from the airport. The weather is sunny and hot all year round and so makes for a great beach holiday. Originally a small fishing village, tourism has taken over and apartments and hotels line the steep cliffs providing fabulous sea views. Sun-seekers will enjoy this destination too, as it's the hottest part of the island.
