It was my birthday and my husband booked us into The Grange in Holborn. Its a truly lovely place that made for a magical stay. First off we had a little discount for being there on weekdays which was a nice surprise. The staff MADE the stay wonderful too. EXCELLENT staff! The food (room service in the small hours and at random) was superlaive and my hubby and I are serious foodies so this is pretty high praise. Towels and other stuff was more-or-less on tap 24hrs a day. The view was mesmerising. Checking IN and OUT was actually also enjoyable. I'm not usually so gushy but even 1 year and 2mths later I still recall that hotel with los of very fond memories.
