Grand Marina

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was fabulous. The rooms were lovely and the view amazing. Spent the evening on the balcony watching the world go by. The swimming pool is small on the 8th floor, but the view from your sun loungers is amazing. I would love to go back to this hotel immediately. Cant wait to get back to Barcelona!

we have stayed in barcleona before and most hotels are on busy streets so we went for a quiter location which is where the hotel is no noise perfect location mins from ramblas staff were so friendly which you dont usually get in a 5 star hotel would definteley recommend for the people who like a bit of luxury.

spot on welcome at arrival, the staff could not do enough for you,.doormen meet you at your taxi and take care of everything. hotel is ideal if you want a special or romantic stay. however ours was spoilt slightly as in our room the toilet did not flush, air con was not working and the jacuzzi was not working. the jacuzzi and toilet were fixed the following day but since we were only staying the one night that was not much good to us. breakfast was great, so much choice, and there was a lady playing a harp, so romantic. we were hoping for a sea view or city view but i think you only get these if you are staying in a class above standard. ours was a standard room, but i think the standard and superior are one of the same. it was the suites that i think had the great views. ours was overlooking the square that was in the middle of the hotel. pool is very small and too cold this time of year to use as it is not heated. overall it is a good hotel and very central to the ramblers.
