Short stay

We had a 2 night stay in this well located hotel.Self check in/out was easy to follow. Hotel room was large enough and clean although the decor/furnishing was dated and could do with updating. The service was very good and the staff amenable.We had a problem with the booking regarding breakfast but the hotel staff sorted this quickly.Drinks were expensive @$17 for 2 glasses of beer

This hotel has a great location it sits right besides Grand Central Station. Very easy check in even thow it was really busy time of year. Room wasn't ready when we got there, but they held out bags for us. Room was really nice with two double beds, bathroom quite small which was a shame. Don't be expecting any good views of the city from this hotel as it doesn't really have any beacause of the location, but that wasn't a problem. Great gym visited only once but great up to date equipment. Would say this hotel was a good 4 star rather than 5 but that seems the norm for hotels in NY.
