Whilst the hotel has charm and was very clean, My wife and I felt that we could expect a little more from a four star hotel. The walls are very thin, and no comfortable chair was provided in the room. We could not receive an english speaking TV channel for the first four days of our stay. An incidental point, but full satellite tv was advertised. The food was adequate, but by no means exceptional,and sometimes luke-warm.The staff were however in the main helpful and friendly. We did not particularly enjoy the evening entertainment-the lone saxophonist. We feel that all this contributed to an end of season feeling in the hotel.
