Built in 1964 in typical Italian Style, the hotel Excelsior has a unique location with magnificent views over the bay and is only 10 minutes by bus away from the centre. Just renovated in early 2004, the hotel has very comfortable and spacious rooms equipped with all the amenities of a 4* property including balcony overlooking the sea. Guests are spoilt for choice; they can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, go to the private beach or have a relaxing stroll in the gardens. They may prefer to go to the nearby village passing through lemon groves and Mediterranean bushes and visit some of Amalfi's charming sights. Alternatively they can wind down with a drink at the pool bar, sunbathe on the solarium or sample some local specialities in one of the three restaurants available.
