Excellent Beach Hotel & Location

When I booked this hotel for my last two days in Spain I was expecting a so so facility, due to the reasonable costs. I was very pleased with the high quality of the rooms and hotel facilities, including the pool and beach furniture. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The beach, at water level was a bit rocky but nothing like the French areas like Menton, which is all rocks. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, stayed in July08 food was plentiful and wonderful choices for all ages, beer,wine etc was too much could have anything including baileys ,smirnoff vodka scottish whiskey and many more .Rooms were 2 big king size beds very spacious and a lovely bathroom with a powerful seperate shower, it was mainly french,spanish and german but eberybody got on so well.

We stayed March 2007. This hotel provided excellent accommodation and food for the money that we paid. The clientele was mainly elderly but we socialised in the bars that are about 15 mins walk from the hotel. Hotel is right on the beach, which was excellent.

Review of 'GRAN PLAYABELLA'

outstanding value, i mean it you are getting 5* holiday experiance for peanuts. My wife and i along with another couple spent a week here in early May, me and my mate played Golf most days while the women relaxed by the pool. A day trip to Gibralter is very easy, also Puerto Banus is a £10 taxi cab from the hotel, we stayed half board £600 per couple and the food was excellent. Entertainment was also very good and the cocktails were about £3 with large spirit measures. Will we be going back, ASAP.
