Review of 'GRAN ELBA MOTRIL'

The location of the hotel was great opposite a sandy beach albeit the sand is grey like must of the coast in the south.  The room was very comfortable, the facilities were good especially the indoor pool area.  For a 4* hotel we were very disappointed with the food, we were aware that it was buffet style but it did not look very appetising and was cold - the breakfast was slightly better.  The town on Motril was good and we enjoyed our trip around the area.

Review of 'GRAN ELBA MOTRIL'

The Gran Elba is modern, clean, comfortable, with good facilities. The only thing mising is a tea maker in the room.
Food is excellent and can be served in your room for about 3 euros. Staff are exremely pleasant, friendly, and very helpfull. The hotel is located near the beach - miles long, but the usual gritty med "sand".Plenty of good restaurants nearby and in Motril just up the road. Good variety of shops in Motril. If you like a "typical Spanish" holiday with few Brits, this is the place to come. We will return.
