I stayed at the hotel because was attending a wedding reception at the hotel. Overall the hotel was good the food was adequate. the rooms were spacious and as we were in the smaller older building the bathroom was a good size, friends stayed in the newer building and I found the bathrooms were very small and only accommodated 1 person at a time. The pools were clean and as there are 3 not crowded with sufficient sunbeds would have been better if the hotel provided pool towels (would have just made the extra difference to the review score). Drinks in the bar were a little expensive but not unusual for hotels. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel provided everything needed for the wedding reception and this was of a very high standard. The food was excellent and the overall standard of the wedding reception was definitely a 5. I would visit the hotel again as the surrounding area very relaxed, did not venture into the centre of Benidorm, more for the younger visitor.

Myself husband and two kids are just back from this hotel we stayed there for 10 days half board. The food was disgusting, the room was very, very basic. There was not a thing on at night for the kids unless they wanted to learn to line dance from a spanish dancer who did not speak english. The best thing about this hotel are the pools, as for sat tv, not when we were there. Would not go back.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay. The Hotel from the outside is 4* the rooms are spotless with a mini bar and UK sky tv. The bathrooms are very nice with two showers. The Hotel is 3km from main part of Benidorm however there is a bus every 30 min at 1 euro. The food was hit and miss, not what you would expect from 4* Hotel! top tip charge your room card to pay for your drinks you get 20% off prices. The pool is large and plenty of sunbeds about. I would book this if you get it at a good price I paid £160 for two for 4 nights full board in April!! There is a good Kebab shop just outside the Hotel if you dont like the food

We were disappointed to be in the short building this time and not the tower block. We asked for rooms side by side but were given rooms 5 floors apart. Food was ok but veg and meat had strange taste. This hotel is quite classy but when full service deteriorates. Balconies in short building lack privacy and no one takes a blind bit of notice of the no smoking notices. Perhaps the free matches in reception are something to do with this!!. Great if you like chips with everything.

We arrived at the hotel on 3rd march for four nights. When we booked the room, our only request was to have a room with a good view and we got exactly that! Our room was in the smaller building of the hotel on the 15th floor and our view of Benidorm was fantastic! The overall presentation of the hotel was very impressive and for just 1 euro we took the lift up to the top of the tall building where the view was breathtaking. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We booked half board and there was a good selection of food on the breakfast menu. The evening menu was adequate, although I expected a little more selection. I also visited the beauty salon during my stay and treated myself to a pedicure. This was so relaxing and I'd recommend booking in for a treatment, especially when the salon overlooks benidorm. The hotel is situated a little further out of Benidorm than we'd liked, as, being regular visitors, we tend to stay near the centre and close to the nightlife. Although, I have to say the Bali is so far, the best hotel we've visited in Benidorm and we would stay there again.

My sister and I stayed at the Gran Bali for a long weekend on a FB basis - food was reasonable, varied choice, but we took advantage of local restaurants too. The Gran Bali is a very nice hotel - rooms were spotless, well equipped with LCD TV's, mini bar etc. We found the staff to be exceptional - bar prices are a little high, but if you put a credit on your room account and pay for your drinks using your room key card, you receive a 15% discount! Would advise visitors to the Hotel to at least say thanks, hello etc in Spanish - it is appreciated by the staff and resulted in my sister and I getting free drinks at the bar! A nice hotel, would return and definitely recommend.

Gran Hotel Bali Review

17 February 2008
Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend during Valentines week.On arrival the outside of the hotel is impressive. On checking in asked to be put in the tall building(the main reason for chosing this hotel was for the views)but was very disappointed to be told half of it was shut and it was more expensive to stay their! So ended up being on the 4th floor of the small building where the view(if you can call it that)was poor.I actually booked a double room but it turned out to be a twin which was again disappointing. The room itself was of a good standard and was very clean. We stayed half board and had no complaints with the food as their was a fantastic varied selection to choose from. The location is not ideal as its out of the way of all the nightlife and theirs not much happening around the area but for 1 euro you can get the No 12 bus into the center of Benidorm and this roughly takes 15mins.In summary its a very good standard of hotel but i'd only stay again if i was in the tall building for the views.

7th - 11 December Arrrived 10.30pm on a friday night. We got put in the smaller building, but we spoke to Annabel on reception and the next day we got put in the larger building. We found all the reception staff very helpful and would help in any way. The rooms were quite spacious and modern, lovely bathrooms. The food was good, im a fussy eater and always found something that i liked. We used to get the bus into the main part of benidorm which cost us 1 euro each and a taxi coming home was around 10 euros. Had a lovely time will be returning in the summer 2008.
