Just got back from a long weekend away at this hotel, having not stayed here before i was aware of the comments made by others, but choose to give it a go. We paid for an upgrade to a superior double but was upgraded for free to a junior suite as our room was not ready at 4pm. The suite was very nice and comfy. We stayed half board and the breakfast had lots of choice but again i would agree with others and say dinner was a bit of a let down for a 5* anyway. Pool was nice and location on front of beach but again would agree the town is a 10min walk away which didnt bother us much. We stayed at the melia dinemar last year and although we would agree our room was nicer only becuase of the upgrade, we would probably choose to go back there instead.
