Good hotel, good value
24 September 2007
The Grafton Capital couldn't be better situated - near Grafton Street and St Stephen's Green, a short walk to everywhere inc Temple Bar and plenty of good bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. It was spacious and clean with friendly, helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. The restaurant and bar are given over to 'Break for the Border' (a Tex-Mex restaurant and night club) in the evenings which means it's not particularly quiet and you have to make your way through crowds of youngsters to get to the hotel entrance, but it really wasn't a problem. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on our next trip.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Didn't really notice any noise but we were at the back of the hotel which isn't opposite any bars. The food at breakfast was really good but a bit disorganised e.g. nobody seated us, nobody came to ask if we wanted tea and toast, when we asked ourselves for tea and toast the waitress brought the tea but no cups, then we realised when she brought the cups that she hadn't brought any milk. The waitress was quite rude when I asked for the different things.

Fantastic! This holiday was a surprise 40th Birthday which went with a bang. Right in the centre of Dublin in close vicinity to all amenities ie Temple Bar and Grafton Street. Loads to drink and eat. Loads to see on the City Tour Bus. Kilmainham jail was excellent taking you back to the past. The castle and cathedral were also only a short walk away.
The Grafton Capital Hotel was not only beautifully situated but also very clean, friendly, spacious and serving excellent food. A nightclub situated in the basement adds extra entertainment but was not too noisy for those wishing to sleep!
A must for everyone ...

The location and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was noisy from the building works outside and at night from the night club. The hotel was clean and the room big I would recommend this hotel

First visit to Dublin had a fantastic time , ate in the Hotel two nights out of three the food was fantastic and the portions were huge. We ended up in the hotel nightclub two nights as well and had a brilliant time with very varied music for all ages . The hotel rooms were large and clean and if we were ever to return would want to stay again.

Nice friendly service. Food was good. We were even given a creme egg on our pillow for Easter. Got noisy at night with a night club adjoining the hotel.
