Great hotel with excellent sized rooms. Situated next to major highway but rooms are well insulated. About ten mins walk into old town and even closer to Wenceslas square. Two very good restaraunts on the road into town La Bodega a spanish themed affair and needles a Czech restaraunt go you will not be dissapointed.

This hotel is a nice clean hotel with good friendly staff, the night porters were very helpful willing to information on local resturants. I felt hotel was just a little way out of the town, a 10 minute walk to the town. Not a lot happening around this area, eg, pubs, clubs and shops, have to walk into town,

Not so friendly Prague

17 January 2008
excellent hotel lovely rooms, staff friendly.Prague is a beautiful city but a pity about the people. I have never met such rude unfriendly people in my whole life. There is a lovely restaurant down the street called The Needle House the food is to die for. Prague is quite expensive and not cheap liked i thought it was going to be. Hotel in a bit of a sucluded area but apart from that could not fault it.

We stayed in the Tullip inn, Prague for 8 days. it was a fantastic hotel and i would definitely go back. they did everything to make our stay comfortable! some reviews speak about a busy road! this was never a problem for us! never heard a thing! and thats with the windows open! the walk to both old town square and wens. square was less then 5 minutes both in straight lines from the hotel! i overall thought this hotel was amazing and i would definitely stay here again!

Tulip Inn Prague

I'd recommend this hotel; suitable for any age with location near all facilities. Hotel room spacious, very palatial, with friendly, helpful staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Room triple glazed as near to main road, so noise or expectations of it, are eliminated. Breakfast is continental with cereal for preference but selection is varied; yoghurt, fruit, croissants; so good choice and you're not rushed if you overlay. Walk into centre is about a half mile, but did it every day without a problem, so recommended too. Found it best to arrange transport to and from the airport. Avoid money changers on the street as they wont necessarily give czech currency, but plenty of cash machines in vicinity anyway. Would stay here again and recommend the Needle House for food, excellent value. Hotel has internet, bar with tastes to suit all ages. June 10th 2007 (hot time-air conditioning worked a treat).

We had a very good stay in the Tulip and would recommend it to everyone.  It is well placed to walk to the tram and metro although it is by the motorway there is good double glazing which cuts out any noise.  The rooms are spacious with a good sized comfortable bed, large bathroom with excellent power shower.  The breakfast had everything you needed to keep you going, a marvellous spread!  There is a restaurant five minutes walk away called the Needle House where we ate most nights - extremely good food and most reasonable prices - it is always full with local people, a very good sign!

The hotel is gorgeous as is the rest of Prague, its about 40 mins from the Airport which cost us around 600Kc which I think is alright. We stayed in a standard double room, which was really nice and had all the amenities needed and more, bathroom, TV, mini bar, internet connection etc. The room was really clean and nice. It was also nice to see that the mini bar wasn't silly prices, although it only stocked minimal stock. The breakfast provided was really nice, especially the scrambled egg! But I wouldn't recommend drinking the water they provide at breakie it tasted a bit foul when we had it!! The hotel isn't located right in the centre but I liked that in a way I liked being able to stroll into the centre, and there is a nice walk to Wenceslas Square round the back of the hotel through a park past the main train station. Although the hotel is located next to a main road and tram system I didn't find that a problem, you couldn't even hear the road when you were in the hotel.

Overall I think the hotel was good value for money and we really enjoyed our stay!!

Despite being on a busy road, the Tulip Inn Terminus is a hidden gem. The minute you walk through the big copper/brass doors? You walk into luxury.

My first impression when I walk through the big velvet drapes at the top of the stairs was wow! This looks good, it was modern and stylish.

The hotel room which I stayed in was on the forth floor and was amazing; it was modern with very nice decor, a very high ceiling and the room was very spacious, in fact, one of the biggest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The on-suite bathroom was also excellent, with wall-wall tiles, a marble basin and an excellent shower. I must also make a big fuss about the beds; they were two large single beds together and boy they where very comfortable……if any one can tell me the name of those mattresses as I now want to buy one + the room also had air-conditioning. With the combination of a very comfortable bed and a air-conditioned room, I had one of the best night sleep I’ve had in a long while.

Breakfast was also good, with a mix of continental (Cheese & ham) to egg and bacon, which you just help yourself to.

Well done Tulip Inn Terminus, and thank you for making my stay so luxurious and comfortable.

The hotel was situated next to a busy motorway junction however it was not a problem due to soundproof windows - my husband affectionately named it 'The Mancunian Way'. Spacious room, loads of wardrobe/drawer space, tea making facilities, mini bar, safe, good shower, clean bathroom, room made up every day, power points in all the right places - a must for ladies with hairdryers! So what more can you ask for - possibly a tad closer to the centre but having said that it was within around 10 mins walking distance to the main attractions and we came across a superb restaurant on the first day whilst getting our bearings. The staff were friendly and there was a good choice at breakfast which was available until 10.30am - a reasonable time even for late night revelers! Very reasonably priced - all in all I was very pleased with my choice and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants quality on a budget/people with high standards but who would prefer to spend their money on other things than accommodation.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a group of friend.  I found the hotel to be in a reasonable location, only 10min walk from The Old Town Square in one direction and Wenceslas Square in another. Previous reviews had mentioned the hotel being in a seedy area, which may put off female travellers, however, we never felt intimidated during our journeys to and from the hotel on foot.  The staff were all friendly and helpful.  The hotel was very clean. There is a small bar in the foyer - with reasonable prices.  The rooms we had were facing onto the main road, but the noise from there was minimal.  Rooms were spacious, with comfy beds, and lovely bathrooms.  There were a couple of good bars/restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel, if you haven't got the energy to go back into town after a days sightseeing! I felt this hotel was good value for money.

Really impressed with this lovely, clean, comfortable hotel. The staff were really helpful and incredibly efficient [asked for a extra pillow which was delivered within seconds!].  Excellent breakfast great choice, but watch out for the chilled fresh fruit; it's tinned! Would certainly use this hotel again. Location was good, being only a short walk [10 minute]walk to Old Town Square. Resaurants around the hotel very good especially "The Needles" excellent food and service and much cheaper than eating in the main tourist area.
