Golden Tulip Hotel De Medici

This hotel is good value for money. The room was fairly spacious, decorated nicely and it was clean. The breakfast was an all you can eat buffet with everything you would want (except marmalade for your toast). Good bar and friendly bar man, but it is only open in the evenings. 10 minute walk to the square along the cobbly paths and roads. Plenty to do, The Fritz and chocolate museums are worth a visit as is the brewery. It does get a bit windy walking along the canals even when the sun is shining. Plenty of restaurants but like most Europen cities it is not cheap. We travelled on the Eurostar from St Pancras changing at Brussels which is no hassle. All in all well worth a visit, can probably see all you want to in 2 days.
