Gemelos Xii

We arrived on a Sunday and went to the office we were told to pick our keys up from - it was closed. There was a note on the window telling us to go to another hotel to pick the keys up. This was a bit of nuisance. When we collected the keys and arrived at our apartment the key wouldn't work. It was turning in the lock but the door wasn't opening. We went back downstairs to find a phone number to call, not being very optimistic we'd get help quickly on a Sunday. Downstairs we met a Spanish lady who I assume lived in the apartment block. She couldn't speak English and we couldn't speak Spanish but my partner somehow communicated to her that our key wouldn't work. She went up the the apartment with him and tried the key but had no joy. She then went to her apartment and got some spray (similar to WD40) which she sprayed on the key and lock. Finally our door opened!! Almost every time we had to get into our apartment during our stay we had to struggle with the lock for at least 5 mins, even though we brought it to the attention of the office the day after we arrived. Although we had an enjoyable stay and the apartment itself was fine, the door was quite a nuisance, and I'm not sure how long it would have taken us to get in had we not met the lady downstairs. The apartments are in a good location. Close to shops, bars and beach but not too close that there is too much noise.
