Just returned from a great week at the Galeon Playa hotel in Costa Teguise. Requested a poolside ground floor apartment directly via email with the hotel and got one. Perfect. I went with a 16 and a 6 year old and both were quite happy all wek. Children's play ground good compliment to paddling pools and bigger pool - ok for 6 year old to stand up in shallow end. The two girls running the activities for children each day were good and each aft at 3 there was a lively pool ball game in the shallow end of the big pool. Kid's mini disco was mini and short but kid's loved it - the adult ents after were ok if you had a few drinks first!!!!! Apartment was cleaned 5 out of 7 days and had everything we needed in good order. The sofa bed was particulalry comfortable actually. There was the usual stupid bagsing of sunbeds just before 10am each morning when they were unlocked - but we always found spares at 3 in the afternoon when we joined the selfish ones who'd put towels on the beds from 10am only to then sit on them at 3pm. Mainly English and Spanish at the hotel. Little beach opposite was lovely - little fish to swim with and good rocks to climb on. Temerature was perfect - 28/29 C all week - and constant breeze meant we didn't even break in to a sweat! Would def return. If they could improve at all it would be to have enough green comfy sunbeds round both pools - otherwise hard to fault for the price!
