Fuertesol was excellent value for money as other reviewers have noted. Clean and tidy plus staff were friendly and helpful too. It is quiet, but I suspect it wouldn't be in high season, but is also 5 mins walk to the centre of the resort and to the beach. We would definitely visit again.

Having chance to visit Fuerteventura once again I decided to visit Fuertesol once again too :) It was best choice! Calm place, close to everything. The only minus is that water in the pool is so cold!

Fuertesol is the best choice for whole Fuerteventura! Quiet place with clean but cold pool. There is good bar and small market so you dont have to go outside if you need basic things eg. water or beer ;) It situated in very good place close to everythng! I'll be back for sure!

Review of Fuertesol

This is the second time we have stayed at the Fuertesolin the last 5 years. The apartments have basic amenities but are kept very clean and regularly serviced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is superb and kept spotlessly clean. The pool bar is good value for meals and drinks. The mini supermarket on site is very handy for basic shopping. The Fuertesol is in a good location with the centre being a few minutes walk away for the shops, bars and restaurants. It is quiet and a good place to chill out and relax. Would go there again.

This apart'hotel is a good value for money.
It's mainly visited by English customers but saw some Italians and French. Many people around the pool, with sunbeds booked by putting the towel from 9:00am even if they go away for breakfast.
The staff is ok and it's clean.
I found the children's playground area very poor, and the minigolf was very mini and broken anyway during our stay.
At night,it's very hot sometimes in your bungalow,so you try to open the windows, or a part of the door to breathe, but the complex is quite big and no security-gate to close it, so you feel a bit insecure..but I saw a guy at night who hang around the complex..is it enough to make you secure?

One bungalow ok.  Second one had water leak in the bathroom (poor maintenance). Moved to another bungalow then ok.
I have stayed at Fuertesol many times over the past 15 years and found it a good place to stay on the whole. Planning to return next year!

PEACEFULL 'FUERTESOL'

03 October 2006
My partner and I have stayed at FUERTASOL once and twice /year for the last [i believe] 12 years .We count ourselves lucky that we found here. The bungalows are clean, serviced 4-5 times aweek and always have been, you have guessed it ----its not a new complex--- so keep that in mind. The staff are delightful, helpful and courtious. We have met quite a few couples here and they have either stayed here before or intend to do so again. The only/ biggest complaint is ITS TOO QUIET---every cloud eh! Oh by the way, every bungalow faces the sun in the morning which then goes overhead. We are going back for a week in another ten days, then again for 2weeks in Jan.  Adios.  STEWART

I have recently visited the Fuertesol Bungalows in Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura. I was a bit anxious as to what the apartments would be like as there are no photos of the accomadation on the website. But to say that I had booked a cheap week away I was pleasantly surprised. The bungalows are of a good size, they are simple and are clean and tidy. The maid comes about 4 times a week, you get clean towels every other day. The bungalow had very basic kitchen ammeneties but I didn't use them as it is cheap to eat out. The pool was kept absolutely spotless, it was cleaned every morning at 9am. There are plenty of sunbeds to go around and it seemed like a nice family resort. There is a pool bar which is quite reasonably priced, it sells soft drinks, alcohol and snacks. There is also a mini supermarket where you can buy bread, water etc. The resort is about 5 - 10 minutes away form the main shopping centres, bars, restaurants and the beach.
