we went to fuengirola beach in jan/feb 08. considering it was winter we were very happy pleasant first class staff, nothing is to much trouble ,and as it was winter the hotel was about half full ,it was like personal service ,fantastic. the first choice reps laid on brilliant entertainment and were tireless entertaining the adults and kids in the day rooms cleaned reguarly and well done to. very happy 23 degrees as well cant fault it. I have read a few reviews and people say a little expensive for this that and the other but I dont think so and the entertainment and child minding of a day is worth its wait in gold. 5 out of 5

Fuengirola Beach

08 August 2007
i took my 3 kids to the Fuengirola Beach Hotel in Jul 07. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. Facilities are very good.....tennis court which converts into sports court, table tennis, evening entertainment, daytime fun and games that are well organised. If you like sport, take you own tennis raquets and table tennis bats as they are expensive to hire. Beach is aboutr 8-10 min walk away but the beach is clean and never crowded. Pool at the hotel is large and clean. lenty of sunbeds and umbrella available. Staff are generally friendly and speak English. Occasionally they have a crack down in the pool and say you cant take in your inflatables but this only lasts a day or two. All in all its a nice friendly hotel with plenty to do

We love fuengirola Beach. This will be our third time when we go again this year . The staff are ever so polite and the rooms are clean. Ther is always something for the children to do. My boy who is aged 8 loves football and he can play whenever he wants more or less. We would recommend it to anyone with children but not young couples

Fantastic

14 January 2007
We stayed in an apartment in the hotel and it was great, it had everything in it even mugs ( hate cups) . We had a balcony which the sun shone all day. Option of having breakfast and Dinner.
Light entertainment in the evening from the staff which we thought was very funny. Reckon it should have 5 stars, will go back again. Ita about 20 min's walk from the main town, but has a big mall accross the road, supermarket very cheap.About 30 shops in the mall.
The apartment was very cheap which made our holiday even better.

Having stayed here 4 times we obviously think the place is fantastic. It has been quiet this time being early December but the service and entertainment has been up to it's usual standard.
Whilst the Fuengirola Beach is quite a walk from all the facilities in town and the main seafront, it is well worth this small inconvenience.
We only stayed self catering so cannot comment on the meals. The staff all speak English and are friendly and helpful at all times.
The First Choice entertainment team are all excellent and still put on a good show even when there are very few people in.
Would recommend to anyone and will return in the near future!!!!

This hotel is great for children, they have entertainment all day,and disco for children at night,i would advise any one with children to go, i got pleasure watching the happiness on those childrens faces.  Just around the corner from the hotel, there is an arndale centre just like the one in manchester, with a huge supermarket like morrisons, bus stop out side and a taxi rank. This hotel is not for young girls or boys in there twenties or early thirties, because they want to travel in bars next to one another, and there are not many young ones there, its more for families with children, the beach is 10 min walk which is nothing,if any of you young ones want to go just to chill out its a good place, but if you want to go for bars and woman,or men, then you have to go to the town,i would say its a redidensial area, fantastic for a family, its clean, the staff are very helpfull, and its great for mature people who just need to chill if they are not taking children with them,my mother of 84 was there and enjoyed it, my daughter of 29,was a bit iffy because she had to take taxi to the town, myself i really enjoyed it,and i would go again, and take my grand child

i really enjoyed my stay i thought there was a lot of nice and kind people there and also the food was great the only thing i would dissaprove of is the way the receptionists dealed with my children i thought they were not spoken to in the right way,but over all i thought it was a great holiday and would like to go back i also enjoyed the night life as the location was also enjoyable and the shops were also close all the shops were in one big mail called the miramar which was also excellent to look inside.

What Do I Think....

06 April 2006
Hey Im Zoe, Im 13 Years Old And Im Just About To Go To Fuengirola Beach Hotel For The 4th Time! Me And My Family Love Fuengirola Beach, Its Got Everything You Need, Swimming, Kids Clubs, Creche, Bar, Restuarant, Swimming Lessons Etc! Over The Last Recent Year A Shopping Mall Was Bulit Right Next Door To The Hotel. In The Mall There Are Clothes, Pet, Toy Shops Etc. Also There Is A Variety Of Restuarants And Snack Bars, Also There Is A Supermarket In Mall To Get All Your Food, Drink And Other Supplies! Last Time We Only Ate Once In The Mall As The Food Was Of Poor Quality. The Hotel Is Near A Busy Main Road. Sometimes It Can Get Quite Noisy But Dont Let It Spoil Your Holiday! Across The Road And Under The Bridge There Is A Lovely Sea Front And Beach With A HUGE Variety Of Bars Restuarants And Clubs For Everyone. Sometimes You Get The Odd Touts Who Try To Sell Sunglasses And Other Things.. Dont Get Interested In Them Unless You Really Are.. Just Say No Thank You And Ignore Them. Anyway Going Back To The Hotel. The Hotel Entertainment Is Sometimes Good But Does Get A Little Similar And Sometimes Boring. The Bar In The Hotel Sells Alchol And Soft Drinks. During The Day A Poolside Bar is Open. Its Sells Drink But Fast Food. Sometimes Your Better Off Making Your Own Lunch. The Hotel Rooms Are Cleaned Daily And Are Of good Quality. Overall The Hotel Is A Great Place For Families And I Definetly Recomend It!

Review of 'FUENGIROLA BEACH'

24 December 2005
The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel had a mixture of adults with children and older people when I stayed in December. The hotel is not far from the beach although people complain about the distance.

The rooms have everything you need and the beds get made and towels changed twice a week. It is near a large shopping complex which has everything you need.

Entertainment is regular and varied. The breakfast was not to my taste but not worth a negative comment as everyone to their own.

I like this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again.

Stayed here from the 17th-31st of July 'o5. Accomodation excellent, staff friendly, rooms spotless, cleaned regularly. A bit out from the town but there is a regular bus service around the corner. Great shopping centre right across the road with large supermarket, shops, restuarants & large cinema. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday we plan to book it again next year with alpharooms the kids had plenty to do to keep them entertained day & night.

Review of 'FUENGIROLA BEACH'

16 July 2005
We stayed 8 July - 15 July. We have 2 children 8 and 7 who enjoyed this hotel very much.Lots of entertainment for kids/adults. We went with Alpharooms and thoroughly enjoyed it.Hotel is a fair way from the beach and Fuengirola Town but buses run frequently.  We asked for a poolside view but we got 2 main roads and a building site instead!! - very noisy early in the morning.we didn't really use the balcony either too noisy!! Plenty of Irish/Scottish people.  Poolside cafeteria was fastfood. nuggets, pizza sarnies etc.  There are no beach front restaurants nearby unless you take a bus/taxi into Fuengirola (15 min ride)we missed this a lot.  Shopping Centre at the back of hotel - sells everything from supermarket things to clothes/sports shops fast food places to eat Burger King.It opens 10 - 10pm.  We were glad we only booked a week we found it too far out from anywhere.  We don't think we will go back to this hotel again but enjoyed the week we had.
