Hotel not to my liking, first of all I arrive at 11.pm, there was no residents bar. They had only one bar going at the time. We only wanted two or three drinks as we had been travelling all day. The lady at the entrance to the bar wanted €9 each to gain admission, I declined her offer. New year's eve been the following day, I enquired about the bar facilities only to be told that a private function was on, so we still could not have drink in the hotel. We arrived down for breakfast the following morning at 10.30 only to be told that it was closed, and we where reserved for sleeping accommodation only, I queried that and apologies where made. There was no literature in english in the bedroom, no english tv channels, I also requested a pot of tea and sandwiches at 4pm only to be told that the kitchen was closed till 6pm.
Need I say any more, I have travelled many a country, stayed in numerous hotels and never met anything like the Fontana. I would not recommend it.
