Floriana Resort Reviews

We were self catering, so did not use allyour facilities. However, we found the apartment spacious, clean the bathroom was a good size. The location was excellent, so near to the beach etc but quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. TV stations were good for us. Alyhough we did not eat in the restaurant the choices loked good and were well presented. The grounds were well maintained and attractive. One small complaint is that the bath towells are too small and rather thin.

SERVICE BY STAFF COULD NOT BE FAULTED AND THE APARTMENT WAS WELL PRESENTED HAVING RECENTLY BEEN DECORATED. THE GRASSED AREA WITHIN THE COMPLEX OFFERED PRIVACY AND PROVIDED THE RIGHT ATMOSPHERE FOR A RELAXING TIME. ONLY A SHORT WALK TO THE SHOPS. RESTAURANTS AND SEA VIEWS MADE IT AN EXTREMELY CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR ALL AGES.

Stayed a week, self catering, at the Floriana in Aug 2011. Rooms were fine, just standard one bed apartment. Very clean as maids clean room 5 days out of the 7. Stayed in Block G and the only fault with that was the sun didnt actually reach the pool area till about 11am, even though I had to put my towel on the sunbed at 7am every morning to guarantee a spot!! There werent any bar/snack facilities at this block either - you had to walk over to the pool across the road for this. Most people stayed all inclusive, especially if you were German. We didnt take part in any of the entertainment etc as only there a week so made the most of it down by the harbour etc. We used this just as a base which was great as quite central, only a 10 minute walk to the coast road. Overall a great holiday and wouldnt hesitate to go back.

My wife and I and our 2 children (7 & 9)returned from our holiday on Thursday 21 June following our 2 week holiday at the Floriana Resort,Cala Bona. The resort facilities are excellent and extremely user friendly. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The resort pools are excellent for the family and the staff are extremely friendly. The grounds are well maintained and the staff ensure the pool areas are regularly cleaned. The evening shows performed by the hotel entertainment staff are very entertaining and our children were delighted with the performances. The hotel has a mix of German, Dutch and British guests. I would recommend the Floriana as an ideal family resort.

Me and my family went to the Floriana Resort last year in October,we really enjoyed our holiday, the rooms were very big,spacious and very clean. The balcony was huge, i couldny believe the size of the balcony. The maids cleaned the room nearly everyday. The pool area was lovely, plenty of trees and flowers. The main pool is large,not very good for children though - not very shallow.The resturant is nice, the food was great, plenty to choose from.The entertainment was fantastic, great shows on every night, especially the Lion King.The staff were really friendly.Going back in September 2005.
