Relaxing Holiday just right for us!
30 June 2008
We were fortunate to fly here for a wedding in june and arrived rather late in the night. It was a bit of a journey locating our key as we had to call to a hotel in Nerja to collect. Thank heaven for GPS as we wrote the street name down and this helped find the location. I would suggest that the location of the keys for collection "apartment mediterrano" should be listed with Tomtom or Garmin as a hotel location this would make it a lot easier for people travelling. Once we got the keys we were very impressed with the apartments. Clean, spacious, Lots of utensils,a washing machine (not that we used it) a large fridge freezer and plenty of storage space. I felt we didnot have enough hangers so next time I would bring some.
The pool was very impressive, very large for a private apartment complex and with some private owners partly using it, there were not a lack of space.
The pool side rules did not allow music, balls, bottled drink beside the pool which was a little harsh I felt! anyway rules are there for everyones enjoyment and we quickly go used to it.
The shower pressure in the bathroom was very powerful and very spacious.
The hill to and from the beach is rather steep but quite short. We came with a group and hired a 9 seater so we drove up and down regularly. We were lucky to be in Burriana June 25th as there was a special festival on at the beach to bless the fishermen at sea. The fireworks display was simply fantastic! All in all we had a wonderful vacation the apartment was cleaned once during the week the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and we would use this complex again.
A taxi to and from Burriana cost €6 which was OK and we were happy with the service.
I would recommend the Chinese and spanish restaraunts side by side midway down the town (forget the names) both had excellent food and good value. Overall very pleased with our accomadation and no hesitation recommending to others.

Good holiday
17 March 2008
This accommodation is extremely good value and very pleasant to stay in. I can only assume it is only rated 2 stars because it doesn't have any communal facilities/reception and the view is not great. The appartment itself was very clean and spacious. It was well equiped with kettle, toaster, microwave and washing machine!! All the equipment, furniture, linen etc were very well maintained and in good condition. The appartment was cleaned and linen changed once a week. It had a safe which was useful and outside gates which were locked. The apartments are situated in a quiet location just a few minute walk from Barriana Beach area, although it is a steep walk up to them. Parking was available directly outside the appartments. The only slight flaw for me was that you had to collect the keys from an office which was over the other side of Nerja and it was difficult finding a map that showed where this office was. Thankfully you didn't have to return them to the office. All in all this this was excellent 2 star accommodation and very good value for money.

The apartments were well mantained and clean, the safe in them is a good idea ,the people are really friendly in the bars and shops . Nerja is a beautiful place to see and with a hire car as well the country side around nerja is well worth a visted as well .A good place for a central point to be one side Marbella and the other Motril will be going back there again in the near furture.

The Appartments were very clean amd well layed out, all appartments have a balcony with the sea visible to the right.
The air conditioning system was electronic and very effective. Good parking facilities.
500m to burriana beach (the best beach in Nerja) and bars, shops, etc. -Although the appartments are up a fairly steep hill.
Nerja centre is about 1.5kms away, its a plesent walk.
Excellent large pool, cleaned daily, great sun terrace with loungers.
The appartments were quite difficult to find as they are up a side road and road signs are poor, but local shops were helpful with directions.
The appartments were very secure with locking gates, double lock doors and a safe box in each room.
Each room has a TV with eurosport and CNN being the only 2 english speaking channels.
Overall we found the appartment and location to be excellent and would definitely stay there again.

very nice appartment basic but claen all the way through just what we needed "clean and comfortable". The hill walk from the beach took a little bit of getting used to but thats probably because im a bit out of shape. The people were very accomadating as we had 2 flights cancelled and arrived 2 days late but they managed to fit us in for the 2 extra days at the end of the week all in all very hospitable and i will definatly stay there again when i return to the lovely town of nerja.

these apartments were a short 5 minute walk to the beach in a quiet location . The apts. were clean and comfortable and the shared pool was lovely and mostly quiet, often we had it to ourselves. The apts were up the hill from the beach (fairly steep but as it was such a short walk it didnt matter.Nerja itself is a beautiful place and the caves are a must to visit -really spectacular! For 2 star appts. these are the best value we have stayed in for a long time . thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would definately go back.
